Reversible Dies have a dramatic effect on the reduction of set-up time within the press brake cell.

Similar to the Quick Change Single "V" Tooling, Reversible Dies, as the name suggests, allows the user to reverse or replace the double "V" die simply and easily at any given time.

The die sits upon a #300 die rail.  Once the die rail has been set, the Reversible Die is located upon the die rail.  The accurate recess in the Reversible Die is positioned an equal distance from the centre of the two "V"s, which automatically aligns the die, allowing the exchanging or reversing of die without having to re-set the tooling on the machine.

With the elimination of the time consuming process of fixing bolts and die-alignment, set-up time is reduced dramatically.

All 2V dies are made from high quality steel composed specifically for bending purposes with superior tensile strength (1100 to 1200 N/mm²) and best load-bearing capacity. A high degree of accurate process repeatability is given even for difficult coining operations.
